As we know our university’s achievements on many levels are no surprise, and when it comes to sports, by our expert coaches and great athletic students, we achieved the third place in the Suburban Championship and the second and the forth place in the individual competition on 09 Feb. 2017 in the Winter Sports Tournament for the Jordanian Universities in Aqaba. Also, on 30th march 2017 the GJU’s football team won the American university’s championship.
In the Jordanian Sports Federation Tournaments for the second semester of the year 2016/2017, we’d like to congratulate our student Abdullah Al-Hussaini, who won the third place and bronze medal in Ping-Pong at the University of Tafila. And congratulations to Aslan Libzu for winning the second place and silver medal in Taekwondo at Al-Zaytooneh University.
Also, The University participated in the Telematch organized by Amman Al-Ahliyye University in 23/03/2017, and our basketball team showed a great effort in universities matches.
And for our Volleyball and Athletics teams, you have worked hard, believe in yourself and in what you can achieve, and things will line up in your favor. Good luck!
