Under the patronage of HE. Mr. Bernhard Kampmann, German Ambassador of Jordan, the German Lounge/Dialogpunkt, was inaugurated on 15 May 2022 at the German Jordanian University Jabal Amman Campus.
The opening of the GL/DP included day events as part of the GJU’s German Weeks, with information booths from our International Office and a number of German institutions, as well as German board games, Karaoke of German music, and a VR tour around Germany.
The German Jordanian University and Goethe Institute hosted the official opening ceremony, for a number of esteemed guests from local and international entities.
The opening included a live performance from the Arabic Jazz fusion band, Zaman Al Zaatar, and a photography exhibition titled “Tales of Amman”, followed by a dinner.
