To all the students of the German Jordanian University

I, your speaker, Jood Jamal Al Shair, am a second-year biomedical engineering student. First, I would like to thank those in charge of the student elections, and for their complete confidence in us as the youth of the future. As young adults, in these current times, we are in dire need to develop from ourselves and from our capabilities in order to build a secure and prosperous future for us and for others. This requires us to work continuously because the progress and success in it spark creativity; and here comes my role as your candidate in proposing topics that will change from the general reality to the better, namely:

• First: Improving the course registration system by providing a sufficient number of sections for each subject. Priority should be given to students who need to register for two related courses (such as the subject and its laboratory) which may constitute an obstacle for graduates and regular students and hinder them, and finally; increasing the number of courses in proportion to the needs of each major
• Second: The creation of a student council that is inclusive of representatives from all degree programs to ensure direct communication between students and faculty
• Third: The creation of a debate club with the aims to expose the students to the importance of debate, dialogue, and its effectiveness in their practical life 
• Fourth: Providing more internship opportunities for students of all majors in companies and institutions. As well as focusing on the dual studies program to include all university majors
• Fifth: Focusing on e-learning platforms to facilitate the examination process, thus the education process is generally easier to serve the students

Liebe Studentinnen und Studenten der GJU, ich heiße Jood Al Shair und studiere Biomedizintechnik im zweiten Jahr. Zuallererst möchte ich mich bei den Leitern dieser Studentenwahl für ihr Vertrauen in den jüngeren Generationen bedanken. Selbst- und Fähigkeitentwicklung ist für uns, als Jugendliche, und besonders in diesen Zeiten von großer Bedeutung. Diese brauchen wir, wenn wir uns eine erfolgreiche Zukunft sichern wollen. All dies verlangt aber von uns andaurende und kreative Arbeit und Mühe, da nur dadurch könnte Entwicklung und Erfolg entstehen. Demnach würde ich, als Ihre Kandidatin, folgende Punkte zutage bringen:

• Erstens, das Verbessern des Registrierungssystems dadurch, dass man genügende Zahl an Sektionen für jedes Fach zur Verfügung hat. Priorität sollten die Studierenden haben, die zwei zusammenhängende Kurse miteinander registrieren müssen (z.B. ein Fach und dessen Labor), da dies Studierende sowie Absolventen hindern kann. Die Zahl der Sektionen sollte auch den Bedarf der Studiengänge decken.
• Zweitens, die Erstellung eines Studentenrates, der Representativen aus allen Studiengängen inklusiv ist, um direkte Kommunikation zwischen Studierenden und Fakultäten zu sichern.
• Drittens, die Schaffung eines Debattierclubs mit dem Ziel, die Studierenden der Wichtigkeit einer offenen Art von Diskussion und Dialogue zuzuführen.
• Viertens, die Erweiterung der Praktikumsmöglichkeiten für alle Studiengänge und in allen möglichen großen Firmen und Institutionen. Außerdem wird der Fokus auf das duale Studieren gelegt, um alle Studiengänge der Universität einzubeziehen
• Letztens, die Verbesserung der E-learning Plattformen, um den Evaluierungsprozess und damit den Lernprozess zu erleichtern.

Mit ihrer Unterstützung und unsere Bestrebung, können wir die Uni Erfahrung aller Studierenden besser und erfolgreicher machen.
