About Basic Sciences

The school of Basic Sciences and humanities offers a wide variety of courses to enable the students to start their engineering education. Physics and Mathematics courses are essential to all disciplines of Engineering. The following Physics and Mathematics courses are offered by SBSH and are mandatory for all engineering students:

  • Physics II
  • General Physics Lab
  • Physics for Architects
  • Pre-math
  • Calculus I
  • Calculus II
  • Probability and Statistics for Engineers
  • Applied Mathematics for Engineers
  • Differential Equations

 

The aim of these courses is to provide the student with the fundamental concepts of physics and mathematical tools, which are instrumental in all fields of science and engineering. The goal is to develop the students’ analytical skills and critical thinking and to expand their horizon. Our faculty members are among the best in their respective fields and are graduates of the world leading universities.
