Within the framework of the project "Applied University Teaching", an exchange took place between teachers from the German Language Center of the GJU and five university lecturers in language teaching from Syria. The project collaborator and university didactician of the Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences, Mrs. Christa Wetzel, who supervises the Syrian project participants, emphasized the importance of the professional exchange of experience across borders and expressed her gratitude with the words: We experienced a good active exchange and were very well taken care of, with more refreshments than we could ever consume.
