Industry 4.0 Laboratory at the German Jordanian University (GJU) serves as a state-of-the-art learning environment that bridges academic knowledge with real-world industrial practices. The lab is equipped with modern Siemens automation systems, including PLCs, mechatronics trainers, and the advanced CP Factory, allowing students to design, program, and control smart manufacturing systems. Through a structured series of experiments, students gain practical skills in digital logic design, PLC programming, and industrial communication networks, leading to a deeper understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts such as automation integration and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). This lab plays a key role in preparing future engineers for the challenges and opportunities of intelligent and connected industrial systems.
