Building on the International Projects Office, established in November 2018, the Project Management Office (PMO) at the German Jordanian University provides centralized support for the planning, coordination, monitoring, and delivery of international projects, strategic initiatives, and cross-cutting institutional projects.
The PMO supports the translation of GJU’s strategic objectives into coordinated projects and measurable results. It works with academic and administrative units, project teams, funding agencies, and partners to strengthen project governance, compliance, accountability, and institutional impact.

Main Tasks
- Support the development of project proposals, budgets, grant agreements, and contracts.
- Support the planning and implementation of international projects, strategic initiatives, and cross-cutting institutional projects.
- Facilitate faculty and staff participation in international projects and strengthen networks with international universities and funding agencies.
- Facilitate project-related follow-up with academic and administrative units.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, deliverables, risks, and compliance with donor and University requirements.
- Develop standardized project management tools and templates, and maintain project information, dashboards, reports, and lessons learned.
- Support project management capacity building across GJU.
