(GJU) in collaboration with the Income and Sales Tax Department, launched the Higher Diploma in Taxation program.This collaboration between the German Jordanian University (GJU) and the Income and Sales Tax Department embodies a strong commitment to providing high-quality education and distinguished professional development opportunities in the field of taxation. The Higher Diploma in Taxation program is expected to become a cornerstone for training skilled tax professionals who will contribute to driving economic growth and development in Jordan and the region
This unique program is developed at the International Accounting Department in collaboration with national and international experts in taxation, accounting, public finance, and law. Participants in the H.D. in Taxation program will be equipped with a global perspective and professional knowledge, skills, and competencies in taxation. The program will employ a wide variety of learning approaches such as case studies, demonstrations, practical exercises, guided discussion, lectures, role play, and research, to promote a vibrant learning environment. The degree program is scheduled to commence in the first semester of the academic year 2024/2025.

Admission Requirements:
To apply for admission, the following minimum requirements must be met:
- Bachelor’s degree in a regular study program from a recognized university in a related field.
- English language proficiency is proven by passing the IELTS test with a minimum score of 5.0 or the TOEFL iBT with a minimum score of 59.
- A motivation letter by the applicant, and two recommendation letters by references.
- All applicants or shortlisted will be subjected to panel interviews.
- Preference will be given to applicant with:
i. Bachelor’s degree in accounting business, economics, or law.
ii. Relevant professional certification.
iii. Relevant practical experience of at least one year in taxation, financial management, accounting, or a related field.
