Based on the German Jordanian University (GJU) strategy of spreading innovation and creativity among Jordanian university students. GJU is pleased to launch its first innovation competition “GJU 3030” under the theme of “Sustainable Developments - the Universities track”.
The competition encourages students to submit projects and ideas based on the principles of sustainable development and aimed at achieving the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations. Projects can vary between areas such as:
- Renewable energy and environmental sustainability.
- Waste management and environmental preservation.
- Preserving biological and environmental diversity.
- Sustainable agriculture and natural resource management.
- Saving water and improving its quality.
- Green technology and environmental innovation.
- Any other topic related to Sustainability.
Competition target audience
University students from all majors and years.
How to participate:
- Students should submit their projects by clicking Here, or by scanning the below QR code.

- The projects will be reviewed and evaluated by experts in the competition field. Then 20 short listed teams will be invited to showcase their projects at the University and present their projects in front of a specialized Judging panel.
- The Judging panel will select the winning teams and award them prizes, trophies, and certificates.

- Get to know other colleagues interested in sustainable development and exchange experiences and ideas.
- Get the opportunity to work together and develop communication and leadership skills.

- All participants will receive participation certificates.
- An opportunity to attend online training sessions that will be offered during the competition period on emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, sustainability, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Soft Skills, etc.
