The German Jordanian University (GJU) and Israr Engineering signed an agreement to support an innovative project for faculty member in the School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (SEEIT), Dr. Omar Al-Hiyari, entitled Sustainable IoT Signage.
The agreement was signed on behalf of GJU by its President, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, and on behalf of the company, General Manager, Dr. Muhammad Lahlouh, and the Project Coordinator, Dr. Al-Hiyari. The agreement stated covering the costs of engineering services to develop prototypes, software, electronic equipment, and the mechanical framework of the project.
Both parties discussed the importance of strategic partnerships in renewable energy, industrial sectors, automation, and digital transformation, and an initiative was presented to support research and innovative students at the university to raise their scientific level by involving them in developing and supervising projects.
