The Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) at the German Jordanian University (GJU), in collaboration with the Mental Health Club, welcomed students from Al-Raed Al-Arabi School as part of its ongoing efforts to promote mental health awareness and support educational initiatives targeting students and the local community.
The visit included an awareness lecture delivered by members of the Mental Health Club, addressing the issue of bullying in schools and its psychological and social impacts on students. The session also highlighted effective ways to address and reduce bullying within the school environment, contributing to the promotion of respect and positive communication among students.
During the visit, students were introduced to the services, programs, and activities offered by the Deanship of Student Affairs, as well as its role in supporting student life, developing students’ skills, and enhancing their personal growth. The session also shed light on the role of student clubs and youth initiatives in encouraging student engagement and fostering an active university environment.
The visit further included a campus tour, during which the students explored the university’s educational environment and the academic and student services available at GJU, giving them the opportunity to experience university life firsthand.
The visit served as a productive and interactive platform that strengthened communication with students and introduced them to the opportunities and services provided by the university, in line with GJU’s mission of community engagement and supporting initiatives aimed at raising awareness and promoting mental health among youth.
