The BioScience Awards are part of an NGO of the same name, operating in London and Cairo in the fields of medical and biological sciences. The organization aims to raise scientific awareness and support innovation through training and educational programs targeted at youth and graduates.

Dr. Al-Zyoud holds a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Yarmouk University, and a PhD in Pathology from The University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Australia. He specializes in combining molecular pathology with innovative biological techniques and has published numerous research papers in prestigious scientific journals.
