
A delegation from the Center of Excellence for Traffic Safety visited Sahab Municipality to explore prospects for cooperation in traffic safety, green infrastructure, and traffic parks, with the aim of developing sustainable solutions to enhance urban mobility in the city.
During the visit, both parties discussed potential future projects aligned with national and international best practices in traffic safety and urban planning. The discussions focused on integrating green infrastructure to improve traffic flow, enhance pedestrian safety, and support environmental sustainability in urban areas.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of traffic parks as interactive educational spaces that raise children's awareness of safe road behavior. Both sides agreed to launch awareness programs and training courses to promote responsible driving and pedestrian safety.
Dr. Farah Al-Atrash, Director of the Center of Excellence for Traffic Safety, emphasized the importance of this collaboration, noting that joint efforts with Sahab Municipality will contribute to improving traffic safety, developing urban infrastructure, and promoting sustainable practices. She stated:
