The President of the German Jordanian University, Prof. Dr. Alaadeen Al-Halhouli, welcomed a delegation from "Elm" Saudi Arabia, which included Dr. Jihad Abu Bakr, General Manager of International Business at "Elm" and CEO of "Isdam" (a subsidiary of "Elm"), along with Shahd Al-Khamshi and Abdulwahab Al-Baqmi from the company's International Business Sector.

 

During the meeting, the proposed areas of collaboration between the two sides in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation were discussed, especially since the university has made significant progress in this area through the establishment of the Deanery of Innovation, Technology Transfer, and Entrepreneurship, offering training programs for students and staff, in addition to opening the Technology, Research, and Innovation Complex.

 

The delegation was introduced to the Deanery of Innovation, Technology Transfer, and Entrepreneurship, and the innovation lab within it, where they met with entrepreneurs and founders of startups from the university’s students. They also explored the latest innovations and entrepreneurial projects at the university.

 

The visit concluded with a tour of the Nano Lab and Technology Complex, where potential cooperation in advanced technologies and entrepreneurship was discussed.

 

The meeting was attended by Dr. Nidal Al-Shwawreh, Dean of Innovation, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Jumana Matouq, Vice Dean, and Dr. Hamza Al-Majali the Director of the Career Guidance Office.
