As part of the "Doing Good, Growing Strong: Grow Your Impact Week" project, the German Jordanian University, in partnership with Brunel University, organized the Impact Development Week, which took place over four days with the goal of supporting and scaling financially sustainable and socially impactful social enterprises.
This week was organized with the support of Catalyst Now, Jordan Academy for Nature, IBTIKAR, COSV, and Arwaqah alreyadah. The event brought together social entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors through one-on-one meetings, specialized workshops, and final project pitches.
Highlights of the Week:
April 14: Interviews with eligible applicants for the Positive Impact Investment Call
April 15: Financial Sustainability Mechanisms Workshop, delivered by Dr. Mohammad Makki (COSV)
April 16: Social Impact Measurement Workshop, delivered by Dr. Ibrahim Dawalha (Arwaqah alreyadah)
April 17: Positive Impact Investment Day, during which finalists presented their projects before a specialized evaluation panel
