The President of the German Jordanian University, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, awarded the two full scholarships offered by the University’s Board of Trustees to outstanding high school students (Jordanian Tawjihi) during a distinguished ceremony attended by the Vice President, Prof. Malek Al-Sharairi, several deans, and the students' families

More than 120 male and female students applied for this scholarship, which is awarded for the second consecutive year, reflecting the university and the Board’s belief in the importance of empowering outstanding students to achieve their academic ambitions. After a thorough evaluation process, the scholarship was awarded to Ithar Raed Nayef Abu Hamda, enrolled in the Electrical Engineering program at the School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, and Noor Mohammad Ramadan Braze, enrolled in the Design and Visual Communication program at the School of Architecture and the Built Environment.

In his speech, Prof. Al-Halhouli emphasized the importance of this scholarship as direct support for distinguished students and a motivation for them to continue their academic excellence. He highlighted that the university aims, through this initiative, to prepare students to become future entrepreneurs and leaders, reaffirming the university's commitment to supporting its students in achieving success and excellence.

Prof. Al-Sharairi, the Vice President of the university, congratulated the students and their families, stressing that this scholarship holds great value and will accompany them throughout their lives, urging them to work hard to maintain it.

Ithar Abu Hamda expressed his deep gratitude for the opportunity, which fulfills his dream of joining the German Jordanian University, describing it as the ideal place to achieve his ambitions. Meanwhile, Noor Braze expressed her immense joy at this opportunity, describing it as "a dream come true," praising the university’s environment and academic staff, which provide students with opportunities for creativity and excellence. Noor’s mother also expressed her deep gratitude to the university, noting that without this scholarship, Noor would not have been able to pursue the major she had always wanted.

At the end of the ceremony, the students were awarded certificates of appreciation for their scholarships.
