The German Jordanian University (GJU) has achieved a remarkable international milestone, as students from the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) chapter at GJU won two prestigious global awards as part of the 2025 International Student Chapter Awards presented by the Association of Energy Engineers.
Ms. Miral Ardah, President of the AEE Student Chapter at GJU, received the Outstanding Student Chapter Member Award, marking a historic achievement as one of the first students from the Middle East to earn this global honor. In addition, the GJU chapter was awarded Best Student Conference/Exhibition in recognition of organizing an outstanding student-led conference under the patronage of the Minister of Energy.
These awards will be officially presented during the AEE World Conference & Expo 2025, scheduled to take place in September in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
