The German Jordanian University (GJU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ibn Tofail University in the Kingdom of Morocco, marking another step in its ongoing commitment to expanding its network of academic partnerships and fostering collaboration with Arab and international universities in support of higher education and scientific research.
On behalf of the President of the German Jordanian University, Professor Ala'aldeen Al-Halhouli, the MoU was signed by Dr. Farah Al-Atrash, while officials from Ibn Tofail University represented their institution. The agreement establishes an institutional framework for cooperation in several academic and research fields of mutual interest.
The MoU provides for collaboration in higher education and scientific research, the exchange of faculty members and students, the development and implementation of joint research projects, and the sharing of expertise and knowledge in sustainability, innovation, and other disciplines that contribute to advancing academic and research excellence at both universities.
Both parties emphasized the importance of this partnership in strengthening academic communication, facilitating the exchange of expertise, and creating new opportunities for cooperation in academic programs and research activities. They noted that these efforts will contribute to enhancing the educational environment and supporting the achievement of the shared objectives of both institutions This agreement aligns with the
