The German Jordanian University (GJU), in collaboration with Jordanian Charity Medicine Bank, organized a free medical day aimed at providing healthcare services to the residents of the Na’ur District and Madaba Governorate, in celebration of the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty King Abdullah II assumption of constitutional powers.
During the opening of the medical day, the VP of GJU, Prof. Malek Al-Sharairi, expressed his pride in the partnership with the Jordanian Charity Medicine Bank and the national efforts made by the participating entities, including the Jordan Medical Association, the Pharmacists Association, drug warehouses, and sponsoring companies. He reaffirmed the university's commitment to supporting national charitable initiatives that serve citizens and promote community work.

For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank, Mr. Ashraf Kelane, expressed his pride in collaborating with the university to organize this medical event, which aimed at providing healthcare services to a number of citizens, with the participation of various organizations, such as JFDA, Kingdoms Sons, Jordanian Healing Bank, and the Medical Association in Madaba. He explained that the establishment of the Jordanian Charity Medicine Bank aimed at alleviating the burden on citizens by providing medications at affordable prices, in line with the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II.
Dr. Marwan Maayah, Chairman of the Sub-Committee of the Jordan Medical Association in Madaba, pointed out the importance of free medical days and their role in helping the less fortunate, praising the bank's efforts to promote charitable health work in the kingdom.
The medical day witnessed wide participation from citizens, with a variety of medical services offered, including specialties such as internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, orthopedics, physical therapy, ophthalmology, and nutrition. The event also featured a free pharmacy that provided medications to patients and visitors.
