As part of the international workshop "Bridging Borders: German Perspectives of Biomedical Engineering", the School of Applied Medical Sciences (SAMS) at German Jordanian University (GJU), in collaboration with the University of Stuttgart, organised an inspiring visit for biomedical engineering students to ERBE Elektromedizin GmbH in Tübingen, Germany.
This visit was a highlight of the workshop, offering students an exciting opportunity to witness cutting-edge medical technologies in action. From exploring advanced surgical devices to engaging with industry experts, our students gained firsthand insights into the innovations shaping the future of healthcare. The experience bridged the gap between academic learning and industrial application, empowering students to envision their role in global biomedical advancement.
The ERBE visit was part of a Bridging Borders workshop designed to immerse students in Germany’s educational and industrial landscape. Through this exposure, students deepened their understanding of biomedical engineering practices, fostered cross-cultural connections, and explored potential pathways for collaboration and career development.
GJU continues to champion academic excellence and global engagement, ensuring our students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and experiences to thrive in an international context.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) for supporting this transformative journey. Special appreciation also goes to ERBE Elektromedizin GmbH and the University of Stuttgart for their warm hospitality and invaluable contributions.
