The German Jordanian University, under the patronage of President Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, hosted a "Reading Marathon" in collaboration with the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation to celebrate the National Day of Reading on September 29.

The event featured an impressive total of 26,454 pages read from a diverse range of books. Students from Husban Secondary School for Girls and Al-Arish School, located in Naour and Madaba, also participated.

This initiative aims to foster a passion for reading in a fun and educational environment while highlighting the university library's commitment to cultural promotion. The library provided a well-equipped space for the marathon, ensuring all logistical and technological needs were met.

At the conclusion of the event, the Library Director honored the winners.
