The School of Computing (SC) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) concluded a specialized training workshop titled "Introduction to Antennas and Wave Propagation." The workshop was delivered by Prof. Sören F. Pei from Hochschule Bremen – City University of Applied Sciences, Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Feras Al-Hawari, Dean of the School, and Eng. Lina Al-Zaatreh. It was organized as part of the Flying Faculty Program, funded by the GJU Project Office in Magdeburg.
Students of the School and teaching assistants participated in the workshop, receiving intensive theoretical and practical training in advanced topics related to wireless communication and antenna technologies.
Prof. Peik expressed his satisfaction with the level of engagement and interest shown by the students, emphasizing the importance of this type of academic cooperation in enhancing technical skills and bridging theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
Concluding the workshop, Prof. Iyas Khader, Vice President for Academic Excellence at GJU, honored participants with certificates, highlighting their dedication and active participation in the highly regarded training.
