
As part of its efforts to enhance communication with the entrepreneurship community in Jordan, the German Jordanian University (GJU) organized, in collaboration with the Innovation Club, a Business and Innovation Iftar, under the patronage of the University’s President, Prof. Alaaldeen Al-Halhouli.
The event witnessed broad participation from entrepreneurial companies, investors, and officials responsible for innovation and entrepreneurship programs, along with a large number of students and graduates with creative ideas and emerging projects.
In his welcoming speech, Prof. Al-Halhouli emphasized the importance of such events in strengthening the ties between the university and the active players in the entrepreneurship ecosystem, pointing out their role in supporting the university’s strategy to transform into an entrepreneurial university that fosters innovation and project development in collaboration with experts and supporting entities.
For his part, the Dean of Innovation, Technology Transfer, and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Nidal Al-Shwawreh, reviewed the objectives and programs of the deanery, highlighting the initiatives that contribute to empowering students and graduates to turn their ideas into successful projects. The event also featured interventions from representatives of companies, business incubators, and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, who provided an explanation of the available programs to support entrepreneurship and develop innovative skills among youth.
This event comes as part of GJU’s efforts to enhance the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, opening new horizons for collaboration between students, investors, and supporting entities, which contributes to the development of entrepreneurial projects with a positive impact on the economy and society.
