The German Jordanian University (GJU), through its Road Safety Center of Excellence (RSCE), organized a specialized training course on the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and traffic safety decision support for a group of Public Security Directorate officers. The program aimed to enhance their scientific understanding of AI and machine learning technologies and provide conceptual guidance for applying them to predict accident risks based on historical data in Jordan.

The course, delivered by a faculty member from the School of Applied Technical Sciences (SATS), aimed to enable officers to leverage modern technologies in traffic data analysis, improve decision-making mechanisms, and reduce accidents, positively impacting public road safety.

During the graduation ceremony, Prof. Alaaldeen ALhalhouli emphasized the importance of employing modern technologies to support security and traffic work. He highlighted the university's commitment to building strategic partnerships with national institutions and providing high-quality programs that link scientific knowledge with practical application, serving national development and public safety priorities.

Professor Halhouli added: “We take pride in our strategic partnership with the Public Security Directorate. This strong partnership aims to invest in the Jordanian human capital and empower them with knowledge and expertise to always meet the responsibility and trust entrusted by the nation and its wise leadership. I congratulate you on this achievement, and I am confident that the skills acquired will enhance your professional journey and positively impact the quality of work and service provided to our community.”

For his part, Dr. Omar Al-Bataineh affirmed that the center works to raise awareness of traffic safety and utilize artificial intelligence in data analysis and accident prediction. He noted that the program combined theoretical and practical aspects to ensure participants could directly apply the skills in their work environment.

At the conclusion of the event, participants graduated and received their certificates, with an emphasis on the continued collaboration between GJU and the Public Security Directorate to implement advanced training programs contributing to institutional performance development and the advancement of the traffic safety system in the Kingdom.
