A delegation from the German Jordanian University took part in the Union for the Mediterranean Forum workshop titled “Green Entrepreneurship: A Path Towards Sustainable and Inclusive Employment.” The event brought together a distinguished group of international delegates, representatives from the private sector, donors, and civil society organizations.

The university's delegation included Prof.Iyas Khader, Vice President for Academic Excellence; Dr. Osama Saadeh, Advisor to the President for Sustainability Affairs; and Dr. Nidal Al-Shawawreh, Dean of Innovation and Technology Transfer.

The workshop was hosted by the Business Development Center in collaboration with the European Union Delegation. The event was officially opened by H.E. Minister of Labor Mr. Khaled Al-Bakr, alongside H.E. Ambassador of the European Union to Jordan, Mr. Pierre-Christophe Chatzisavas.

Participants discussed key developments in the fields of green transition, the challenges associated with adopting sustainable economic models, and ways to enhance international cooperation in support of the younger generation’s aspirations for a greener and more inclusive future.
