We are proud to announce the remarkable achievement of students from the School of Architecture and Built Environment (SABE), Design and Visual Communication Department at the German Jordanian University (GJU)in the Arab StarPack Student Packaging Awards 2024! Our students competed with numerous universities in Jordan and managed to win all the awards in their categories.
All entries came from the Packaging Design course, including one graduation project. This outstanding achievement reflects their creativity, dedication, and hard work.

Tala Afaneh – Date Biscuit Packaging – 2nd place (Visual Packaging)

Tuleen Kirresh – Recreation of Sheep Boiled Nabsulsi Cheese packaging – 3rd place (Visual Packaging)
Raghad aL Malak – safayeh burger box – 3rd place (Structural Packaging)
The Arab Student StarPack competition received an impressive 700 entries from 11 countries: Lebanon LB, Egypt EG, Palestine PS, Morocco MA, Tunisia TN, UAE AE, Saudi Arabia SA, Oman OM, Jordan JO, Iraq IQ, and Yemen YE, resulting in 56 outstanding winners!
From Jordan, we celebrate the victory of six talented students from SABE/GJU!
The competition was organized by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in collaboration with the Lebanese Packaging Center (LebanPack).
All winning projects were supervised by Industrial Design Dr. Rawan Majzoub, whose expertise and guidance played a key role in developing the creative designs of our students.
