His Excellency, President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, visited the School of Nursing at the German Jordanian University (GJU) as part of his official visit to Jordan.
During the visit, the Dean of the School of Nursing, Dr. Mayada Daibes, gave a brief presentation on the nursing program, noting that it was established to meet the needs of the German healthcare labor market for qualified nursing professionals according to German standards, emphasizing the school’s commitment to preparing students for professional work and social integration in Germany.
The Dean accompanied the President on a tour of the school’s laboratories, where he was welcomed by School members, clinical trainers, and students who presented two nursing simulation demonstrations reflecting advanced clinical skills and academic knowledge.
His Excellency interacted directly with the students, praising their skills and language proficiency, and commending the School’s efforts in preparing qualified nursing professionals capable of competing in international healthcare environments.
