Organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) and in coordination with the Independent Elections Commission, a training workshop was held for all sub-committees supervising the student parliament elections to be held at the German Jordanian University
At the outset of the session, Dr. Thelal Oweis welcomed the participants and expressed gratitude to the Independent Electoral Commission for their ongoing cooperation in raising awareness among students and staff, emphasizing their pivotal role in ensuring the success of the electoral process.
Trainers from the commission familiarized the subcommittees with the prepared models for the voting process, election procedures, as well as the methodology for tallying results and determining the threshold for university lists.
The Independent Electoral Commission commended the university's guidelines for selecting the student parliament, affirming their alignment with Jordanian electoral law.
