The German Jordanian University (GJU), through the School of Computing, hosted a delegation from Advanced Technologies to explore potential collaboration in the field of quantum computing. The delegation included Mr. Abdelrahman Alabed, Scientific Innovation and Strategic Partnership Manager, and Mr. Mohamad Al-Omari, Account Manager. Advanced Technologies serves as the regional partner of SpinQ, the first commercial provider of desktop quantum computing systems for education and research.
During the visit, the delegation provided a demonstration of SpinQ’s quantum computing solutions. From GJU, several faculty members participated in the meeting, including Dr. Ammar Gharaibeh, Dean of the School of Computing, along with Dr. Abdullah Alfarrarjeh, Dr. Amani Abu Jabal, Dr. Mahmoud Alsaraireh, Dr. Suhad Sbieh, and Mr. Abdullah Heyari.
The discussions highlighted a shared interest in advancing quantum computing research and educational initiatives at GJU. Both parties agreed to continue exploring appropriate pathways for future collaboration.
