A team composed of graduates from the Department of Architecture at the School of Architecture and Built Environment at the German Jordanian University (GJU) — Arch. Safwan Abdel Aal, Arch. Ahmad Al-Kasasbeh, and Arch. Ahmad Abu Naseir (a graduate of the University of Jordan) — achieved a remarkable milestone at the Dubai Artificial Intelligence Hackathon 2025, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai

The hackathon took place as part of the “Dubai AI Week 2025”, organized by the Dubai Future Foundation and the Dubai Center for Artificial Intelligence, and brought together top innovators and creative minds from around the world at AREA 2071 in the Emirates Towers.

Within just 48 hours, the team developed a smart solution based on Agentic AI technology that provides personalized and tailored travel experiences for users.

Their outstanding achievement earned them first place in the Travel and Mobility category and third place overall, showcasing the academic excellence and innovative spirit of GJU graduates, and highlighting the capabilities of Jordanian youth in the fields of technology and innovation on the international stage.
