The President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, honored the students and staff members who succeeded memorize of Surah Yaseen. AlDhad Club organized the initiative, where the Dean of the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA), Dr. Thelal Oweis, the Vice Dean, Dr. Mustafa Jaradat, and members of the club attended the celebration.
Dr. Al-Halhouli praised the participants in memorizing Surah Yaseen as memorizing the Holy Quran has many virtues, great rewards, and great ranks, encouraging the students to participate in all activities, events, and initiatives organized by the DSA.
The ceremony program included a speech by Dr. Jaradat, a lecture by the former Dean of the Faculty of Shari'a at the Applied Science Private University, Dr. Muhammad Al-Tarayrah, entitled; The People of the Qur’an are the People of God and a video on the stages of the competition. At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Al-Halhouli honored the winners and supervisors of the competition.
