The Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) hosted the Politics and society institute represented by H.E. Dr. Mohammad Abu Rumman, to hold a discussion session with students as part of the “Generation of Modernization” project series.

This project, organized by the Institute with the support of the Embassy of the Netherlands and in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of Political and Parliamentary Affairs, aims to revitalize political engagement within Jordanian universities and encourage participation in political parties through a series of training programs, dialogue sessions, and student-led initiatives designed to educate students about party and election legislation, political work, and ways to strengthen political participation.

The session brought together students from diverse backgrounds: student union members, independents, and activists from student clubs who shared their perspectives on the challenges facing student engagement and offered their suggestions for enhancing youth participation in university life.
