Students from the School of Nursing (SN) at the German Jordanian University (GJU), in coordination with the Community Service section at the Support Services Department, conducted a series of home visits aimed at providing health education and contributing to improving the health of community members as part of the Community Health Nursing course.

The visits included taking vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, pulse, body temperature, respiratory rate, and blood glucose levels. The students also provided health education and guidance on the importance of regular health monitoring, disease prevention, early detection of risk factors, and adopting healthy lifestyles.

The activity also provided students with an opportunity to apply their communication and health education skills while promoting the concepts of social responsibility, volunteerism, and community service, thereby supporting their professional readiness for the future.

The initiative reflects the collaboration and integration between SN and the Community Service section, as well as GJU’s commitment to leveraging its academic capabilities to support health and awareness programs, promote prevention, enhance the quality of life of community members, and respond to their needs.
