The German Jordanian University, as part of the activities of the “My Right to Learn / Kinder Uni” initiative, organized an art workshop titled “Cartoon Character Modeling” within the Art Corner Day activities, aiming to foster children’s creativity and imagination and promote experiential and practice-based learning.

Dr. Yazan Al-Emarat delivered the workshop, which introduced participants to the development of cartoon characters and their impact on visual culture. The workshop also included practical training where students learned how to draw characters and transform their drawings into clay models, combining art, design, and sculpting.

The activity witnessed notable engagement from the students, who expressed their ideas and talents through innovative artworks that reflected their imagination and creative abilities, while contributing to enhancing their confidence and developing their artistic skills in an interactive learning environment.

This activity is part of the efforts of the “My Right to Learn / Kinder Uni” initiative at GJU, which aims to discover children’s talents and develop their creative abilities by providing stimulating educational environments that support learning, experimentation, and participation.
