The German Jordanian University (GJU), through the School of Architecture and the Built Environment (SABE), participated in the Arab Architects Awards Festival in its second edition, organized by the Jordanian Engineers Association in Amman, during which 17 selected projects were presented in 6 categories.

SABE participated through Dr. Rami Daher, who won the category of hotels and tourism for his project (Al-Shaumary Reserve), Eng. Thaer Qabaa participated in the festival organizing committee of the Qatari-Jordanian Committee, Dr. Daher and Eng. Mohamed Khaled participated in the symposium that was organized on the sidelines of the festival on contemporary Arab architecture.

In addition, SABE participated in the Universities Exhibition, where graduation projects that won local, regional and international awards were presented. SABE’s students were present in the event as the School encouraged them to engage and interact with the architectural community.
