President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, participated in the Jordan Partner Schools Leaders' Conference 2026–27, organized by the British Council, at the Mövenpick Hotel Amman. He took part in a panel discussion titled “Future-Ready Schools: Aligning Education with Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision 2030.”
During the session, Prof. Al-Halhouli highlighted the German Jordanian University’s educational model, which combines applied education with practical experience. He also emphasized the alignment of the University’s academic programs with labor market needs, its partnerships with institutions and the industrial sector, and its academic and professional engagement with Germany and the wider world.
Prof. Al-Halhouli also discussed the University’s role in preparing students with the knowledge, practical skills, and language competencies needed to enter the labor market. He highlighted key aspects of the GJU experience in connecting education with practical application and enhancing students’ opportunities to gain experience in local and international work environments.
The session also featured President of the Higher Education Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission, Prof. Dhafer Al-Sarayrah, along with a number of leaders and experts. The discussion focused on the future of education and ways to better align it with labor market requirements and Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision 2030.
