The German Jordanian University (GJU), represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA), took part in the International Youth Day activities organized by the Ministry of Youth in cooperation with UNICEF. The event was attended by Minister of Youth Dr. Raed Al-Adwan, along with representatives from international organizations, governmental and civil society institutions, and young people from various governorates across the Kingdom.

The participation of GJU students aimed to strengthen their role in youth and community engagement, while showcasing their contributions to both national and international causes. They took part in dialogue sessions covering diverse topics, including scouting and guiding, community initiatives, youth and political participation, the role of youth in shaping the future, leadership and entrepreneurship, environmental issues and climate change, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, as well as youth, peace, security, and health.

Concluding the event, GJU students engaged in working groups to develop a set of recommendations, which will be submitted to the relevant committees for consideration in future national plans and programs.
