The Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA)) ) in cooperation with the Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship (DI-TECH) screened two films directed by GJU creative graduate Murad Abu Eisheh.
The films TALA'VISION and A CALLING FROM THE DESERT TO THE SEA were projected at the School of Architecture and Built Environment (SABE) in Jabal Amman (Murad's school).
TALA'VISION won various awards and honors, most recently its gold medal win at the Student Academy Awards - Oscars, and an official shortlisting to the 94th Academy awards. Following that, Murad became a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2022.
The screening was concluded by a dialogue with Abu Eisheh, in which he narrated his success story in filmmaking and how he dealt with challenges and made them opportunities to achieve goals, deliver messages and serve the community.
At the end of the dialogue, the Dean of DSA, Dr. Thelal Oweis, honored Abu Eisheh for his remarkable efforts stressing the importance of striving to overcome difficulties and achieve success with determination besides being armed with knowledge and skills.
