His Excellency the Minister of Labor, Mr. Khalid Al-Bakaar, visited the German Jordanian University (GJU), heading a delegation from the Ministry accompanied by representatives from the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ). The delegation was received by GJU President, Prof. Dr. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli. The visit aimed to explore potential areas of cooperation to enhance graduate employability and align higher education outcomes with labor market needs.

The meeting came as part of the university’s ongoing efforts—led by the Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer, and Entrepreneurship—to strengthen partnerships with national and international institutions. The discussions focused on a range of initiatives that could support student graduation projects, develop practical training and professional qualification programs, and promote a culture of entrepreneurship among students.

Both parties also explored opportunities to organize joint training and professional workshops, link graduates with employment programs offered by the Ministry, and develop targeted programs that build the competencies required across various economic sectors.
