Amman – Under the patronage of the Deanship of the School of Nursing and in collaboration with the Specialized Training Center at the Specialized Hospital/Amman, the school organized an awareness campaign in celebration of "Heartsaver Month," under the theme "I Can Save a Life."
Training on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
The campaign included practical training for students and faculty members on how to perform hands-only CPR, based on the latest recommendations from the American Heart Association. Additionally, the campaign provided training on basic first aid principles, such as handling choking and burn cases.
The Campaign's Role in Raising Awareness
The School of Nursing aims to raise awareness among students and university staff about the correct procedures to follow in emergency situations. This initiative is part of the college's ongoing efforts to enhance emergency response skills, as these actions can be critical in saving lives.
The Deanship of the School of Nursing emphasized that such events are a top priority in educating the university community about the importance of first aid and CPR, given their significant role in life-saving situations.
