In a move to further enhance communication and exchange of experiences between the medical sectors; a team of ophthalmologists at the Islamic Hospital headed by Dr. Musab Salah visited the Visual Rehabilitation Center (VRC) at the German Jordanian University (GJU).
The visit aimed to introduce the services provided by the center to people with visual disabilities and discuss ways of future cooperation. During the visit, the visual rehabilitation specialist at the center, Maisa Massoud, gave an introductory presentation about the center, its vision, its various rehabilitation services, training courses for specialists and awareness activities in the community of all categories that the VRC provides.
The medical team expressed their admiration for the pioneering efforts made by the center in the field of community service and providing comprehensive services for those with visual disabilities.
At the end of the visit, the team toured the center's facilities using simulated glasses for visual impairment.
