The GJU would like to congratulate the undergraduate students Faisal Alqasem and Saqr Alaarag from the School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (SEEIT), who have recently published a research paper, entitled: “A Bispectrum-based Approach for Detecting Deception using EEG Signals”, in the proceeding of the 20th IEEE International conference on E-health networking, application and services (IEEE Healthcom), Czech Republic, Sept. 2018 (http://healthcom2018.ieee-healthcom.org/).
The published paper presents a new approach that analyzes humans’ brain waves in order to detect deception. It’s worth mentioning that both students were working under the supervision of Dr. Rami Alazrai, department of computer engineering.
