Celebrating Our Students' Success in the Project Innovation Hub
We are delighted to announce that our students from The School of Architecture and Built Environment, specifically the Design and Visual Communication department, have successfully completed their participation in the Project Innovation Hub, earning their certificates in the process. This significant achievement was accomplished during the Student Academy's "Digitalization of Cultural Heritage" seminar held in the spring-summer term of 2024.
The Project Innovation Hub, supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) under the Ta´ziz project, provided an invaluable opportunity for our students to engage with cutting-edge technologies and innovative practices. Through this program, our students collaborated with peers and faculty from the University of Applied Sciences Brandenburg (THB) to explore the digital preservation of cultural heritage.
Under the supervision of Industrial Professor Mohammad Al Nusairat, our students excelled in the Metaverse Class, where they developed essential skills such as:
- Creating 3D reconstructions of historical sites using Photogrammetry.
- Documenting their work through video presentations.
- Utilizing advanced tools like Frame VR to bring their projects to life.
Their participation culminated in a public presentation in July 2024, showcasing their conceptual work and project documentation. We are incredibly proud of their dedication and the high level of creativity and technical proficiency they demonstrated.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to each student for their hard work and commitment to excellence. This achievement not only highlights their individual talents but also reinforces our institution's role in fostering innovative education and professional development.
