In a new milestone reflecting the German Jordanian University (GJU)’s commitment to strengthening its international academic partnerships, the School of Nursing (SN) has sent student Reem Al-Samarrai to Hong Kong, making her the first student from the School to participate in the Student Exchange Program. She joins the first cohort of students nominated under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the School of Nursing and its partner university in Hong Kong.
This achievement underscores the School of Nursing’s commitment at GJU to expanding its international engagement and providing students with high-quality opportunities to study and train in global academic environments, enabling them to enhance their academic and practical competencies while preparing for the demands of both local and international labor markets.
Dr. Mayada Daeibes, Dean of SN, stated that Reem Al-Samarrai’s participation marks an important step in the School’s journey toward strengthening its international presence and expanding academic collaboration with leading educational institutions worldwide. She noted that student exchange programs offer students valuable opportunities to gain new experiences and learn about the latest educational and professional practices in the field of nursing.
