In a move reflecting the advanced academic cooperation between educational and healthcare institutions in Jordan, the German Jordanian University signed a cooperation agreement with Saudi Hospital for Medical Investments, aiming to enhance training and qualification opportunities for nursing students in a practical medical environment.
The agreement, signed by the university’s president, Professor Dr. Alaa Al-Din Al-Halhouli, and the hospital’s representative, Mrs. Heba Al-Saudi, includes providing training opportunities for nursing students based on high-quality standards at the hospital, which is one of the leading hospitals in the kingdom. The agreement also aims to support joint medical and health research and enhance academic collaboration between the two parties, contributing to the development of healthcare and technology services in Jordan.
The agreement further strengthens the partnership between the university and the hospital through the formation of a joint technical committee to oversee training programs, implement research projects, and exchange expertise in the fields of medical innovation and technology transfer. The agreement also includes the qualification of healthcare staff and promoting a culture of leadership in the medical sector.
Through this agreement, the German Jordanian University seeks to provide its students with distinguished practical training that enhances their opportunities in the job market, while the hospital contributes to developing the students' skills by offering an advanced training environment that meets the highest global standards.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Nursing College, Dr. Dr. Mayada Daibes, and several officials from the hospital.
