Welcome to the School of Computing (SC) at GJU, a vibrant institution founded in 2005 and dedicated to shaping the next generation of tech leaders. We offer a comprehensive suite of undergraduate and graduate programs focused squarely on today’s most in-demand, evolving fields.
The School’s academic offerings are both rigorous and modern. At the undergraduate level, SC provides Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Engineering and Computer Science, featuring high-value specialized tracks in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Computer Vision & Robotics, Cyber Security (with preparation for EC-Council certifications), and Data Science. Unique to Jordan, we also offer a joint B.Sc. in Game Design and Media Informatics (Gaming and VR/AR) in collaboration with the School of Architecture and Built Environment. For advanced studies, SC offers a Master of Science in Computer Engineering with specializations in Applied AI and the Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT). Additionally, our multidisciplinary M.Sc. in Enterprise Software Engineering is a unique joint program with Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT).
At SC, applied education is our core philosophy. We equip our students with a powerful combination of theoretical knowledge, essential soft skills, practical experience, and research competence. This is achieved through well-designed study plans that fully integrate theory with practice. Students benefit from several well-equipped educational and research labs for hands-on experimentation and tackling real-world challenges.
More importantly, the German Year significantly enriches the students’ journey, providing invaluable life, educational, and work experiences through a study semester and an industry internship in Germany. We further maximize practical readiness through field training, industry-centered courses, project work, and our Dual Study tracks, which require students to complete three summer semesters working directly within local industry.

Our faculty members hold degrees from renowned universities across the USA, Canada, and Germany—some are inventors with USA patents and prolific publications in top international venues.
