The Road Safety Center for Excellence (RSCE) at the German Jordanian University is organizing the First German Jordanian Road Traffic Safety Workshop on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, Under the patronage of the Minister of Public Works and Housing, H.E Eng. Yahya Al Kasbi, and with the participation of representatives from relevant ministries and national institutions in Jordan, in addition to remote participants from Germany, the United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia.
The workshop aims to discuss several topics, including the human and economic cost of traffic accidents in the Kingdom accidents in Germany, technological developments in the field of road safety in the world, awareness programs, and the role of youth and youth work organizations in global efforts directed to the development of traffic safety.
The Director of the Center, Prof. Mohammad Hamed, pointed to the importance of the workshop in achieving an effective exchange of knowledge related to best accident prevention practices, reviewing some advanced experiences in the field, and exploring possible cooperation opportunities.
