A delegation from the German Research Foundation visited the German Jordanian University (GJU) to discuss cooperation between the two sides in areas of common interest.
The President of GJU, Prof. Ala'aldeen Al-halhouli, praised the close relations with various German institutions, noting that GJU signed a memorandum of understanding for strategic partnerships with the universities of Fulda, Trier, and others to strengthen the cooperation with partners in aspects of student exchange, research activities, projects and capacity building as a German-Jordanian team.
In the meeting, which was attended by the Vice President for International Affairs, Prof. Reiner Finkeldey, and faculty members at the School of Natural Resources Engineering and Management (SNREM), joint coordination in the various fields of water and its sciences were discussed.
At the end of the visit, the delegation toured the laboratories of the Civil Engineering and Energy Departments.
