The University Sports Federation, in cooperation with the German Jordanian University (GJU), organized the cross-country race for Jordanian university students under the patronage of the President of GJU, Prof. Alaeddin Al-Halhouli.
Twenty public and private universities were represented in the race.Female students raced the 4 km distance, and the male students 8 km. The race took 25.16 Seconds in total.
Contestant Hanoya Adam from AlZarqa University won first place for the second year in a row in 14.50 seconds. The University of Jordan won first place, Al-Hashmiyya second place, and Al-Yarmouk third place for females.
Dr. Al-Halhouli honored the winning teams with the first three positions and the top ten players in the presence of Dr. Mustafa Al-Attiyat, Secretary of the Sports Federation of Universities, Dean of Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA), Dr. Thelal Oweis, Vice Dean of DSA, Dr. Mustafa Jaradat, Directors of Sports Activity in Jordanian Universities, and Dean Assistant, Member of the Technical Committee of the Sports Federation For universities, Dr. Ziyad Al-Zoubi.
