The School of Nursing (SN) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) conducted an insightful meeting for its students for the aim of discussing several topics related to the German Year in the presence of the Vice President for International Affairs, Prof. Reiner Finkeldey, the SN Dean, Dr. Mayada Daibes, the Director of the German Language Center, Jacqueline Rogler, and a number of faculty members with students of the School of Nursing.

Prof. Finkeldey stressed on the importance of mastering the German language which in turn will open wide horizons for students in terms of training and employment in the German labor market, pointing to the many career opportunities available there.

For her part, Rogler gave a detailed explanation of the levels of the German language and how to distribute them within the study plan, enabling them to master the language efficiently before traveling to Germany.

In turn, Dr. Daibes pointed GJU’s commitment to equip its students with the necessary skills and knowledge to be ready to deal with the international markets, noting the vital role played by the German language in achieving this goal, which reflects the university's efforts in providing all the necessary tools and resources to allow its students to successfully achieve their academic and professional goals.

The meeting was concluded with an extensive dialogue during which the students' questions and inquiries were answered.
